The mission of Â黨ÊÓƵ is to develop men with disciplined minds who will lead lives of leadership and service. A private historically Black liberal arts college for men, Â黨ÊÓƵ realizes this mission by emphasizing the intellectual and character development of its students. In addition, the HBCU college assumes special responsibility for teaching the history and culture of Black people. — Â黨ÊÓƵ Mission Statement
The Â黨ÊÓƵ Board of Trustees seeks an inspirational, innovative, and strategic leader to serve as the institution’s 13th president. Founded in 1867, Â黨ÊÓƵ is a private liberal arts college with a distinguished legacy of developing Black male leaders who excel academically, lead with integrity, and create meaningful social impact.
The next president of Â黨ÊÓƵ will assume leadership of an institution that has achieved significant momentum over the past seven years, with strengthened finances, record enrollment, and growing national prominence. This is a call for a leader equipped to advance an ambitious vision for the future of the College, cultivate substantial investments to realize that vision, enhance the operational and academic enterprise of an exemplary liberal arts institution, and continue Â黨ÊÓƵ’s renowned tradition of producing academically exceptional, morally grounded, and service-oriented leaders for a rapidly evolving world.
